It’s one of the science fiction world’s hidden sub-genres, ruled by uber-nerds who speak in a language that includes words like decaling, putty, weathering and realistic battle damage. Personally I’ve never had the patience for modelling but I admire those who do. The beautifully presented (and expensive) Scifi & Fantasy Modeller magazine demonstrates just how serious the world of sci-fi modelling is.
